I needed a timer for the kids to visually see. this works great and was inexpensive. I don't know what it is about timers and children but they respond to timers when it comes to switching tasks and sharing toys. This has been very helpful for them and they like to press the button on top when they hear the beeps.

The timer is very light, but has the silicone protector for the destructive toddler. The cute rainbow is a perfect touch. The volume is adjustable at two levels, or it can be silent. It’s nice that you can pick either 3 or 30 second alarm time depending on the activity.

This timer is great for little ones or anyone that benefits from visual aides. We use this for our time out timer and it's perfect. It's very loud and we love that it's easy to turn off and set up. We wanted to get a timer for our toddler so he can have a better idea about how to tell when a certain time is up before we move onto a new activity. I picked this one because it’s colorful and fun and it’s sturdy (for when my toddler decides to hold/drop it). The missing star is because I wish it didn’t have the cloud right where the rainbow is (it’s hard to tell cloud vs time done when it’s a short tine) and because the sound is pretty shrill and my toddler doesn’t like it (so it has to stay on silent, but it has lights that go off instead of a sound). Besides that, we love it.
