High quality lawn seed
It worked great! It filled in all the areas that were bare !! fyi best results - mow first, spread seeds , then spread potting soil over any areas that seem were bare and soak 2-3x a day for at least the first week. You’ll have beautiful long lasting grass super fast !!

It's working
I prepared the surface really well and used a lot more seeds than needed, it has been a few weeks. The grass is growing but I still see some seeds, I gave it a 4 stars I was expecting for it to cover it all maybe it's too early, I will add more pictures eventually

Great seed for shady spots where other grass won't grow. Use Peat moss to germinate.
I really like this grass for the shady spots on my lawn where the zoysia won't overtake or the St Augstine either. It survived the San Antonio summer in the shady spots and did pretty good against the winter annuals coming in. Winter annuals are pretty invasive here so you need a lot of density to choke out their seeds. I will say that I always had terrible results with seed germination before I started laying down peat moss, like 0-10% germination. So I buy 2.2 compressed peat moss in roughly a 2 peat moss to 1 grass seed ratio and I get excellent germination. I don't bucket soak at all. I till the ground and then lay out a pre mixed grass seed and peat moss mixture, use my tamper (I supposed you could just step on it) and then water daily until I need to mow it. I figure its 40 dollars for peat moss and 30 for seed and that is equal to about 800 dollars and 8,000 lbs of sod if you install it yourself. Care instructions are about the same for sod and seed anyways. Use peat moss, plant in shady spots and this seed will serve you well. I would guess it won't invade the sunny parts of your yard so there will just be a little competition where light is 6-8 hours of the day.

Better than expected
Great quality. I ordered the 40lb bag because I thought I need a lot of seeds, but I only used a little bit, and it worked so well that I will use the rest of the seeds in the next season. I added pictures one is from the day I put the seeds and the other is 14 days later which clearly shows how well the seeds germinated. Please note that before placing seeds, I covered the soil with a layer of top soil, and then I covered the seeds with another thin layer of top soil to prevents birds from trying to eat them.

Wow! This is a lot of seeds!
I'm shocked. This bag is FULL of seeds! I've never seen so many seeds in one place before. It's just so many. How are you supposed to plant these?? This is gonna take a few years at least. I had no idea how many seeds I was getting. This is just crazy. I may have to hire someone to help me with the planting of the seeds. Hmmmmm....

It is good sees, grows fine but there is some St Augustine seed mixed in there, I believe. My entire lawn is fescue and now I have SA since filling in the bald spots.

Great Product
Product worked as expected. I have used this product in the past with great results. Only downside is cost. But then again, you pay for quality, and this is definitely top shelf.
