I have tried loads of things to help with poor quality sleep - nothing worked without making me feel lousy the next day. These work! Since beginning to take them (though I only take half the dose and only every other day) I have been sleeping longer and better. Success! I suppose I ought to mention that they are rather big, but fine with a spoonful of kefir or yoghurt which helps them to slide down. Also, they can have a bit of an unfortunate effect at the suggested dose - bit like prunes... It is still worth it to sleep so much better!

Lovely but it’s kind of big

I take a magnesium supplement every day as it helps with so many things. It eases constipation, helps me sleep better when taken before bedtime, even helps with anxiety. This Solgar Magnesium citrate has a qood absorbancy. You just need to adjust the dose if it's acting as a laxative and you don't need this effect.The only negative thing about this particular Solgar magnesium supplement is the size and shape of the pills. They are quite large and have a chalky rough surface. You have to keep it in mind if you have a problem swallowing large pills. They could be cut though if you don't mind the extra work.Hope it helps.

If you're taking these tablets to improve your health I would be careful. They're so large you're likely to choke on one, so make sure you take it with someone nearby who can perform the Heimlich maneuver. I had to cut them up into three pieces with a large knife - another hazard. I'm sure the manufacturer is actually trying to kill me.
