Works great in coffee!
A half packet of this in a big cup of coffee works great. It definitely has a chocolatey/salty taste, so I gotta be careful to not put too much in or else it's too overwhelming. But finding the right balance, it tastes good! Great way to get a kick of sodium to help my low BP.

Recommend
The chocolate salt favor has helped me break my addiction to lattes. I'm doing keto, but I would go over my daily carbs sometimes due to my addiction. I'm so glad I found this flavor. At first I was mixing the whole pack with 8 oz of black coffee with a splash of heavy cream. It was a little salty, so now I just mix half a pack. It definitely satisfies my latte cravings. I recommend this product

Great taste!
Love the taste! I use it in my cold water and hot water. not gritty. dissolves by just shaking the bottle. The chocolate flavor is great when your looking for something chocolaty but don't want the heavy sweet. This satisfies my craving for something chocolaty without all the sugar & calories! Will keep these on hand and will continue to buy these.

AMAZING!! Guilt free daily hot chocolate!
LOVE!!! I was already a LMNT fan, but after trying this in a sample pack they sent, I became obsessed! I have it every single morning now, and it’s as enjoyable as a cup of hot chocolate every morning. It’s guilt free though, as there’s zero sugar and it’s actually super good for you with all the normal LMNT electrolytes etc.I always like to split the packet in half across two cups of hot water to dilute it slightly, otherwise it can be a bit strong. Two cups lets you enjoy the perfect cup of “hot chocolate” twice though! It has a little salt, like a good chocolate with sea flake dessert would. If you have a sweet tooth or looking for a healthy hot chocolate-esque option - look no further!

Strangely enjoyable
I did not expect to like salty chocolate electrolyte drink, but there is something oddly satisfying about it. I enjoy the balance of salt, sweetness, and chocolate. I've tried it warm and cold and both are good. My only complaint is I would prefer sugar to stevia extract. Artificial sweeteners always leave an unpleasant aftertaste, and this is no exception.

If you have POTS - this drink is heaven!
I have POTS and need to consume a lot of salt to keep it in check. I got this idea from another review and oh LORD is this the best POTS hot chocolate ever.1 cup oat milk, heat until hot (I microwave it for about a minute and a half.)1 package chocolate LMNT1 TBSP cacao powder (not cocoa-powder)Mix wellLiberally salt the top of the drink (yes, you are salting your salt!)Cover with whipping cream and enjoy! If you have POTS, you need to try this drink!

Will buy again.
I will buy more. This taste exactly like it is marketed for electrolytes so it is salty. I put it in my morning power coffee which lessens the salty taste but still salty. One a day has been fine for me. I have tried the LMNT drinks and though they gave me the electrolytes I need they were just too salty for my taste. This has been a much better alternative for me. If you have tried the drinks and cannot stomach them give the chocolate powder a try.

Salty. They're proud of it. I don't like it.
I bought and compared four different electrolyte powders. They were Ultima Replenisher Grape, Keppi Keto Lemon Lime Splash, Key Nutrients Recovery Plus and LMNT Key Hot Chocolate. My goals were - not too much salt (that I can add cheaply to my diet), enough potassium (I suffer the dreaded Keto Calf Cramps in a hard swimming work out), dissolve well and stay dissolved, and taste okay. Stretch goal: Individual affordable packets, because I travel a LOT.My test included aerating for 30 seconds the powder in 500ml (I know they want more, but seriously, who drinks a half-litre first thing in the morning) and the letting it sit for a minute (because, cats and S.O. dontchaknow.) LMNT "Hot Chocolate" took the most blending; the cocoa doesn't go easy. (It was cold water.) But it did blend. The second photo is precipitate after a minute. LMNT did 2nd worst, but I blame the cocoa. Hotter water might have solved that. But this is salty. Very salty. It's not yucky, but it is salty. The inside of their box has one side dedicated to "Stay Salty" and the bottom printed with, "It looks like you need more salt."Oddly, salt isn't my main need. Potassium is. I can add salt to my food trivially, and have on hand multiple gourmet salts in a cellar at the table. (For the curious, currently Maldon Smoked Sea Salt flakes, Saltverk Seaweed Sea Salt and Coarse Pink Himalayan Salt.)It's also expensive considering. I think the Key Nutrients is preferable, because I don't need the salt. But if you really need salt, and can't find a source at, I don't know, perhaps the grocery store, this stuff is great.
