I’m so relieved to have finally found a sunscreen that agrees with my skin and looks nice! I have oily skin prone to clogged pores, and most products are too moisturizing, too greasy, too chalky white, or don’t have a high SPF. I really like the matte texture, the subtle tint, the physical only SPF, and the reasonable price! So far, it is not causing any breakouts, nor does it dry out my skin. I also like that it doesn’t rub off easily. It is also completely unscented. Highly recommend!!

I really like this tinted sunscreen – it has a nice texture and blends well, but I ordered the medium to tan shade, and it’s a bit dark for my skin. I do tanning bed sessions, but I don’t tan my face, so I use this sunscreen to match my facial tone to the rest of my body. I really do love this sunscreen. I think they changed it a few years back because the color works better than it did before. I get the fair to light and it works great. It used to be too dark but I think it was just one color, now they offer three? I'm not positive but it used to be too dark for me but they do offer a light and it works great for my skin tone. I love that it's a high spf of 50. It is free from so many harmful ingredients which is very important to me. I don't want harmful chemicals on my skin or fragrance. It's also cruelty free which again, is important to me. I have mature aging skin which has become sensitive and this doesn't sting, burn or irritate my skin in any way. The spf 50 is a huge bonus with this as well because my skin has become very sensitive to the sun and I can feel the difference when I'm wearing this compared to being out in the sun without. I've developed an auto immune disease and along with that I developed rosacea and now my cheeks are so sensitive and will burn and hurt when I'm out in the sun without sunscreen and when I'm wearing this they don't. I can wear this all day and it still looks great. It gives a decent amount of coverage. I don't wear foundation any more and haven't for years but I want some sort of coverage and I find that this looks very natural but hides many flaws, like marks/discoloration, helps diminish acne scars and pores and makes my wrinkles looks better. I definitely look better wearing this than without and without a heavy makeup look.I would give 4.5 stars if I could and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is too drying for my mature skin. I used to have a more oily skin and this would have been great but now that I'm older, 57 to be exact, my skin is no longer oily and this makes it feel a little tight and dry so I mix it with a little of my Cerave AM facial moisturizer and that adds some moisture and makes it bearable without the tight drying feel. I've tried other tinted moisturizers because of the drying matte issue but there was always something wrong, like usually the color, too shiny, not enough spf, and or too expensive. The amount you get and the price are such a bonus and don't forget the spf 50! I just really like it a lot. I wish it was more moisturizing but it's not hard to just mix a little Cerave AM into it on the top of my hand and they apply. I've tried other brands to mix in other than the Cerave and I find the Cerave blends the best. I hope this review is helpful. I figured after 3 or more years of using it I should help others with what I've learned from it. Like I said, I have tried other brands but I keep coming back to this and why would I pay more when I know this works and looks so good. It's also buildable so it really does work and look like a foundation. Great product.

This is a great product for people with light warm skin tone. I don’t think it would work for fair skin, as it borders on being a touch too dark for me, but it’s fine with a very light powder over the top to lighten it up a touch (see attached pics). I have incredibly oily skin and I found this to be neither dewy nor drying. It was a nice in between with a more natural satin finish. (and it is the perfect texture once I add a touch of setting powder). Although it is matte, it isn’t drying at all. If you have dry skin, I would definitely add a moisturizer underneath. It did take a few minutes to fully dry down. I’ve not tried this under liquid foundation, so I’m not sure how it would do underneath. I do wear a translucent setting powder over it, which sets it perfectly. It provides just a touch of coverage - a “your skin but better” look and It stays put even after mild sweating.I have tried numerous (at least 20) other tinted sunscreens and BB creams w/ spf over the past few years (including several viral ones) but this has been my fave. I also have moderate acne. I’ve only been using this about a week, but so far it hasn’t triggered any breakouts I’ll update this review if it does. I have attached a few pictures wearing the Austrian Gold Matte in the light shade. . I think it is obvious in the pics that my face is a touch darker than my neck, but it’s always like that unless I use a shade that is really too pale for me.

I have fair, sensitive skin that burns easily and dark eye circles. I’d say my skin is fairly clear, but I’m 29 in a big city so it isn’t model skin. Greasy sunscreens are my arch nemesis. A tube of this will last me a month to two months. No oxidation or color change throughout the day. I wear this as my foundation and it looks great! This and a little concealer and I sweat it’s the perfect base! Not greasy, not too pigmented or too light to cover small blemishes. Smooth finish for other makeup. I don’t have to even use setting powder with it! I’ll attach a selfie with it as the only foundation I’m wearing (I do have concealer under my eyes)

Works well enough, and bought this because Australiam Gold is my favorite sunscreen. But the tint is much darker/thicker than my other tinted sunscreens. Maybe buy a shade lighter than you think you need. I really can't use this because it looks unnaturally dark.
