Zoysia Plugs - 200 Large Grass Plugs - Drought Tolerant, Low Maintenance

I ordered 200 plugs and they arrived in perfect shape. They were green and lush. The soil was still moist and the plugs were easily removed from the trays. I planted them using a multipurpose garden tool. I attempted using a sod plug tool, but my black clay soil clogged it continually. The digging side of the multipurpose tool was curved and it took just the right amount of soil away to just drop the plug in and fill in afterwards. I planted them last week and they are still looking healthy, full and green.

These were terrific. Have bought other zoysia in the past where you had to cut into plugs. These are in great 50 plug trays. Arrived moist and green. First 100 more sturdily packaged but then you never know what USPS stacked on top of them. I know zoysia takes time to fill in so it will take time. Great plugs well-rooted.

The plugs arrived in great shape, moist and ready to plant. We’ll see how they how. 2 weeks after planting, they look good.

Arrived early, great packaging, grass was actually green and healthy. I’ve ordered from other companies in the past and the plugs show up dead brown. No cutting required, the plugs are ready to go in the soil.

Except the UPS delivery delaying that caused problems between me and my gardener who had scheduled to plant the plugs, the products are very good, more convenient and worth to purchase and to plant.

Being late December, I was braced for getting less than vibrant plugs but was completely surprised. They came very much alive and healthy, bright green and each plug (200 total) came out of the cups effortlessly. Definitely recommend and I will be ordering more.

The plugs I received where received very dry but didn't worry because I installed them into the yard instantly already had the plugs cut out of the ground when they arrived.So after I installed them I watered them for two weeks straight they arrived green but dry while so over the cooarse of the two weeks they turned yellow, but I thought it was caused by the temperature drop so I just stayed true the plan, nope they where dead I realized this of coarse after it warmed up more than 30 days later and they where now more brown than yellow, so I contacted the company and explained to them why I called after the 30 day redund was up and they blamed me for killing the grass. First they said the Turf Trust fertilizer I put down killed it, when that wasn't making sense they said the weed in my yall choked out all 400 plugs which when I installed them my weeds where small cause we where coming out of winter but the truth is they never even tried to root. So they basically told me it's on me no refund no plugs. There are better companies out there advise you shop around.

The plugs arrived on time and were well protected, fresh and green. We planted them the next day (prepared the yard the week prior). It was not an easy task and it is a bit too early to tell but so far so good9(10 days). Approximately 10% (20 plugs) look as if they will not make it but I am good with that . If these grow I will update my review and buy some more .UPDATE APR 2022: As the weather warms only a small number of plugs look to be coming back to life. Whereas in the fall I it looked as if I would lose 10%, now it looks more like 75% will die off.UPDATE MAY 2022: After 4 days of rain and a little warm weather the plugs have rebounded. I guess I was not doing my spring watering sufficiently. Will update again as the growing season progresses.
