Purchased by mistake.
So I am an avid home automation fan. I have geofencing for when I leave and come home. I have Alexa routines, Ifttt, mostly wemo switches. Home Servers for automation of my home theater... lots of stuff. I was buying a new set of Wemo switches for a lighting kit for my wife's Christmas present. I saw what I thought was the Wemo 3-way switch on sale for 27 bucks. I couldn't pass it up so I bought three of them, the 3 way switches in my house are the only things not automated. With some sort of either voice control or setup. When they arrived I noticed the packaging was different, but I didn't think about it, it was a project for the weekend. It wasn't until The following Sunday that I even noticed. Okay this speaks volumes to the level of my distraction. I decided I would install them anyhow and give it a try. At least one of them. I would leave it to judgement for later if it was a good idea. I had about 15 min before my wife and I were headed to the gym. So I thought okay I will start the install and get it done when we get back. The physical install was a normal process took me about 10 min. I was going to leave it because at this point, it had power. The switch was working and the secondary switch worked too. I have done about 15 of these things so I am quick on the in install part wiring is no big deal. Not That I needed the diagrams but the little guide that came with it is very informative. I have done a lot of electrical work in my life so replacing a switch in the wall is short work. The part that normally takes the longest with these is the setup.Still waiting on the wife I downloaded the application. Signed up (extremely fast process), and thought okay let’s see if I can get this done before we leave. Wife coming down the stairs and down. I think the whole process took 1 min. Had to put the device in the correct mode by holding down the button for a few seconds. Apparently the time it took for the application log load and me to get setup the paring setup timed out. I have done 10 of these type devices in one day taking the better part of the day to just trying to get them on my wifi. Later that same day I installed the other two 3 way switches and a Wemo Single switch. It took three times longer to get the wemo setup.I setup the new switches in my new routines and they are working great. As soon as the devices are on my network and registered with the application Alex is aware of them. I had to rename one of the 3 way and the one Wemo I installed. The treat life switch not only renamed properly but Alexa was immediately notified of the new name and immediately worked with voice control. The Wemo took 3 hours to work properly with my name change. As well as two discovery cycles.I am no stranger to complexity. It takes three jump points to get some of my automation done the way I want to use it. My family appreciates it and I know my Electric bill reflects the difference in the fact that kids that don't know how to turn anything off so the automation does it.I will definitely be getting more of the Treatlife devices going forward. The Price point is good, the install is simple and the function is the same as higher priced products in the same class. When I get home tonight I will include Video of the new switches working with my Alexa.

Love these smart dimmers!
The media could not be loaded. Recently we put in new LED lights. The highest setting is really bright so I searched for some nice looking dimmers and found these. Everything else look like your basic dimmers that everyone has. These looked different and more modern. Easy buttons to use for my elderly mother. I didn’t realize I can control the lights by scanning the paper barcode. Thought you needed an Alexa or Google assist. Haha I would highly recommend. My home is really old built in 70s. No issues with at all. My electrician adding in some thick copper wiring throughout my attic and walls. Get it, you wont regret it!

Works perfectly in a 3-way or 4-way switch
I am not an electrician, but I was able to install this switch easily. I purchased this smart switch to use in a laundry room with a "4-way switch" system. The room has 3 doorway entrances each with a separate switch that operate a single overhead light. The room was already wired with one "4-way" switch and two "3-way" switches. The 4-way switch needs to remain, so all I needed to do is replace either one of the existing 3-way switches with the smart switch.. I knew from a previous smart switch installation for an outside light that there is a neutral wire in the box nearest the outside door. One of the 3-way light switches is also in the same location. Before doing anything, DISCONNECT POWER AT THE CIRCUIT PANEL!!!The 3-way switch is easy to identify due to 3 wires on the switch, 2 travelers (which in my case are the same color, one on each side of the original switch across from each other) and 1 line/load (on the terminal above one of the travelers). A single pole switch has only 2 wires. I connected the wiring to the new switch with the included wire nuts and installed the light switch with the screws provided. The switch can only be installed on a 2.4 GHz network. My WiFi operates on a 2.4 GHz/5 GHz so I needed to temporarily disable the 5 GHz in order to get the smart switch to connect to my network. In my case, I had to log into my router, go into home network, WiFi, advanced options, turn off 5 GHz. Then press and hold the switch until the LED flashes quickly, release. In the Smart Life app, select add device, WiFi switch, confirm LED is blinking, and connect. I re-enabled the 5 GHz connection in my router. Alexa immediately discovered the new device. Everything now works perfectly by operating any of the wall switches, using the Smart Life app, and with Alexa. All was very easy once I had 5 GHz WiFi temporarily disabled.
