I like to keep the birds well fed with a good quality bird seed, but price has to be a consideration too, this seems to cover both bases fairly well.It would be cheaper to buy a wild bird seed mix, but this is a no mess mix, so the birds eat it all and they doo seem to like it judging by how often I refill the feeder. I used to buy the Richard Jackson food, but it is now ridiculously expensive and whilst not quite so loved by the birds, this is a good alternative.It apparently contains Kibbled Wheat, Red Millet, Red Dari, Kibbled Maize, Sunflower Hearts, Flaked Naked Oats, White Millet, Naked Oats, Safflower, Pinhead Oats, Kibbled Peanuts, Oyster Shell Grit which is supposed to attract a good variety of birds. I haven't monitored which birds come to the feeder, because to be fair, I wouldn't know which were which.

I've used this brand for ages and always had oodles of birdies visit every day. Due to utility bills and the recession, this sadly hit the "not a necessity" list. And five months later, it is back on the "must buy" list. I still kept feeding the blackbirds, foxes, and badgers ..... But I was getting complaints from my other birds! Fluttering on the drying line and twittering to us ..... The wood pigeons came to the back door for a few days and then disappeared completely (their regular nesting spot was empty). Long story short .... Ordered ..... Arrived very speedily and efficiently .... Within a day, the regulars were back and the wood pigeon pair took up their old spot on the gable roof. Looked out this morning and the garden is alive with our feathered friends!By the way, highly recommend this seller ..... Bag was safely sent in a box for protection and arrived super quick.

Been buying this product for several years. All ways been good quality. Atracks all small Bird's my main ones at the moment are 16 flegling house sparrow the odd robin. Dunnock. But I hang a open round basket tray under feeders to catch messy eatters seeds and stop wast . Problems I get wood pigeons swinging in the basket . Managing to eat some of the food from feeders above. But this year I only have two or three. 2020-24 I had 16 every day. But putting feeders on a over hanging branch of a high privet edge solved the problem. It's only now after cutting over hanging They found there way In again. The glass dome robin feeders help you can set them just for small Bird's. I used them for live meal worms. All from Amazon.
