Okay so, first impression: really easy to open up and assemble. Pretty sturdy so far and travel friendly. However, upon having it for a few weeks there could be one major improvement based on our experience. My son is 7 months old. He is able to sit up unassisted, but sometimes still loses his balance, or bounces when excited and topples himself over. When that happens, 9/10 times he ends up smacking his head on the metal supports. I really wish there was even a small amount of padding around the supports or something. Or maybe if the mesh was pulled tighter so it doesn't stretch way past the supports and catches more of the child's weight instead of them banging right into the metal bars. I purchased this play pen so that my son has a safe play area while I'm using the restroom, making meals, etc. as my husband travels for work so it's normally just my son and I. I was really counting on this product being 100% safe for him, but frankly I don't feel comfortable leaving him alone for just a few minutes in this. Definitely a disappointment. I know this issue is my specific experience and not everyone will have this issue with older children. But as this product is intended for children as young as 6 months, I feel like it should be addressed. Hope this review helps someone.

Only 4 months of occasional use and it has separated in two different parts. I was really happy when it arrived, easy to use and lightweight as advertised. I noticed the bottom material was very thin but I figured that if it held up, then it wouldn’t be a big deal. After only 4 months of occasional use, the material has small tears in the center (probably from small twigs at the park) and it has separated in two different sections at the seams. For $100, I expect it to last much longer than 4 months of occasional use. My baby girl is 1 years old and of average size.

When we went on our first trip away where we were staying in a hotel, I was SO nervous because my daughter was on the move- crawling everywhere and pulling herself up on everything. I was so scared to bring her into a place I knew wasn't baby proofed at all. This playard was so perfect. It literally folds out in one step, and comes in an over the shoulder bag. It is sturdy and of great quality. She played comfortably and safely in this playard with her toys. Even if you don't travel often, this product is invaluable to have set up in your home, just to have a safe place to put your little one for a moment. I highly recommend this product. The only thing is I wish the bottom of the playard wasn't so slippery, but once I put socks with grippies on my daughter feet there were no more issues!

Updating my review 3/6/20. We’ve had this playyard for quite some time now and it’s still one of our top baby products ever. As a mom of an 18 month old and a newborn, this play yard has been a life saver when I need to feed the baby or get something done around the house. My toddler can safely play and is comfortable which puts me at ease. It’s so easy to fold up and put away when we are not using. This is the best gift you could get any mom as it lasts years and years and is one of the most useful products one could own.We love our Baby Delight Go With Me Portable Playard! It's a must-have item when babies start to crawl and stand up. Such peace of mind knowing the baby can play safely! The packaging is so sleek and easy to put together. I love all Baby Delight products for this reason! The fact that it's portable and we can easily travel with it makes it that much better. I would highly suggest for anyone looking for a playard.

I think most people unhappy with this item, just didn’t know what they were getting. This doesn’t have a sturdy bottom like an actual pack n play. Which is fine, if you simply layer some blankets underneath. The bars on the outside of it are potential spots for baby to bonk head, but fortunately, my girl hasn’t. Overall, what I like most about this is the ease of opening and the easy transport. I have a pack n play and it’s a pain in the butt to open, set up, tear down, lug around. This is light as can be. The canvas can be stubborn to snap on, but not that big a deal and works well and stays on! I bought a mosquito net with no opening (the kind for a bed) to throw over the entire thing for outdoors. So far I like this and was worth the money as long as you know what to expect!

We bought this play yard when my youngest turned 6 months and was just starting to sit up unassisted. It was the perfect timing! We live out in the country and spend a lot of time outside. With my two oldest, I usually just kept the baby in the stroller or held her. This is a game changer! She is able to play outside, watch her siblings and steer clear of our very large dogs. It is very simple to set up and pack up. It is light weight and so easy to clean! It has also been a game changer for camping! We can put the baby down without worry! I definitely recommend!

Product arrived sooner than anticipated, that was a good thing. Our one year old Grandson is beginning to walk and can speed crawl, so this was the option. We didn’t need a ‘pack and play’ since we have a crib but needed a safe place to put him when we needed a break, this is the perfect answer. High enough, roomy enough and strong enough to coral this active child. When the day is over we release the two arms to easily fold up, slide in its stuff stack (comes with it) and we can hide it behind a piece of furniture until he comes again. We have had it outside to the joy of both grandparents and grandchild. Yes a bit pricey but the quality, ease of operation, storeability and safety make it a good value.
