I've never been unhappy with Jack Links jerky. I love the pepper flavor which tastes good and has a great zing with a bit of sweet that remains my favorite flavor. Each bag is a good size and two for the price was a great find. Just a good snack to keep around.

Beef jerky is always wonderful but I find it very expensive. It is much cheaper to buy here than in store where I live! Same wonderful taste and you don't have to leave the house!

I've eaten and made a lot of beef jerky, and Jack's is prob the best budget, mass market beef jerky out there today. That's not saying this is great, or good beef jerky, but it's better than most mass market brands out there. I've tried several flavors, Original, Peppered, Jalapeno, Wild Heat, and Sweet & Spicy. Out of all the flavors, the the Sweet & Spicy is my favorite (and Wild Heat is my least favorite). I've prob eaten over a 100 bags of this stuff over the years, and I would say, about 1% of the bags will be bad (extra dry, mold, or taste weird for the flavor). Overall, if you need a beef jerky fix, this will hit the spot. It's not the best by any means, but it's good enough. I try to get this stuff for less than a dollar an oz on sale.

Now I've found where I can buy bulk @ a good price. Great for a supplement meal or snack on camping trip or helping a friend move.

This could be the best jerky I've ever had! I bought the pepper jerky, spicy but still has an almost sweet taste. If you are looing for a jerky to try it would be hard to do better than this jerky!!!

I don't eat a lot of meat so bought this as a sort of protein booster. However it is WAY to easy to forget that one ounce of jerky is equal to about 3 ounces of fresh meat and put the brakes on. One thing on the quality control side is that I bought two bags in this last order. The first bag had a great deal of very fine powdery shreds of the product. The second bag had almost none. That inconsistency was disappointing but generally I enjoyed having this to snack on.

The main reason for my 5 stars, is overall quality- I have less rejects with Jack Links than any other brand. A lot of other brands taste just as good, but it gets frustrating when you get 1/2 a bag of pieces that are too hard...so far (after 20+ purchases), not the case here.
