I bought this March 2022 and it has failed today. All in all it has only been switched on about maybe 50 to 70 times. so much for led lights lasting ages. If it ever comes back in stock, don't waste your hard earned money.

This is the old fashioned type of clear bulb which we started out with in the 1920s before pearl finish bulbs were invented. If you want a bulb to shine a pattern through a lampshade or lens this is what you need. Have found it is quite suitable for dimmer switches also. Comfortable warm white light is produced as it is rated at 2700 Kelvin colour temperature. Easily matches the amount of light from the traditional 100 Watt filiament bulb but only using 12 Watts. One-eighth of the amount of electricity, with very little heat, means I find I can put these bulbs in lampshades which used to be marked 60 Watt max without danger of overheating. Just my opinion, of course!

The media could not be loaded.  ... at least not with my dimmer switch.I'm a bit cheesed off because I specifically bought this to have a bright light that I could dim. Now I just have a bright light, which is too bright most of the time.No idea about the longevity, it's been plugged in for about 2 hours, so at least 2 hours.3 stars because it is bright.

Many LED bulbs have a large plastic base that casts a shadow below the bulb. That's no problem on a ceiling fitting, but makes the area below a standard lamp rather dull.This bulb solves tha problem, and has allowed my wife to do embroidery in a place where the light was inadequate before. It combines the benefits of a filament design with a very high level of illumination.

These are the brightest dimmable filament LED bulb with BC base I could find. I have used them for over a year and found no problem with the quality. They are a bit longer then the standard BC bulbs and so you may want to check the size of your lamp shade to make sure they fit. If that's the case then they are the brilliant dimmable LED for you!

I was a bit sceptical if these LED bulbs will do the dimming with our over 10 years old dimmer. But I was prepared to give them a try.The bulbs arrived promptly and I almost immediately plugged them in to see the results.Amazing. They do work and I am able to dim the brightness using our old dimmer. No flicker noticed.The bulbs appear to be a lot brighter than our old 100w filament bulbs.The bulbs are expansive but they are dimmable.

Bought as the description said it was dimmable (and light bulb packaging concurs) but mine constantly flickers when used on a dimmer switch. Works ok on normal light switch but this wasn't the purpose that I'd bought it for.

Replicates traditional lamp well, nice colour, good brightness. Longevity unable to comment but ok so far…
