Great value, excellent appearance, a touch time-consuming to create the right sized hole.
Excellent product. Bright LED light. -maybe a touch too bright for car dashboard use at night. An easy fix for this is to add a series resistor to the LED ground terminal (the copper coloured terminal), I've yet to do this on mine due to time constraints, but 100 to 470 ohm should be about right depending on brightness required. Regarding creating a panel hole, I found that some serious filing with a coarse, half-round file was necessary. The spring lugs at the side of the switch don't have much 'give' when offering the switch up, so you have to create a hole which is only just slightly larger than the switch body. Started with a 16mm hole cutter then gradually took off another 2mm or so at the 'north' and 'south' ends of the switch. Only complaint is that there was no information about the terminal connections. The 2 plain terminals are the +v switched path, the gold coloured terminal is the LED ground. I was thinking that the LED would light when that part of the switch is pressed, this is not the case, it's the other side of the switch which lights the LED when pressed. Can't fault the operation, appearance or value of these switches. Recommended.
