Great light
This is a great little light, very bright, and has lots of neat features. I will be buying more of this model. The spotlight setting projects a square a very long distance (about a football field) and you can even see the circuitry of the diode projected onto the surface that you're shining the light on. I think that's kind of neat. But if you want a more diffuse light spreading over a wider immediate area, you can do that too. It's bright enough and can be made wide enough to light up your entire back yard if that's what you want. Also, I noticed the color of the light is pretty much spot on with natural sunlight. It doesn't look like sunlight under normal use since it spreads out so much. Under normal use it looks like an artificial white light. But if you point the flashlight at something 4-5 inches away the concentrated beam almost perfectly matches the color and look of sunlight. Any farther and the beam spreads out and looks artificial. But at point blank range it looks just like sunlight. So I can set this down on my desk in a darkend room, point it at the wall a few inches away, and simulate a 2x2 inch beam of sunlight wherever I want, which can make for some nice mood lighting. And since it's rechargeable I don't feel as conservative trying not to waste the battery.I haven't really used the power bank feature much, but I did test it and it worked fine. My phone was able to charge when plugged into the light. For the power bank feature alone, I'm getting an extra one for my car.

Very nice flashlight, had to fix one item.
Very bright. For the price I'm very impressed with the flashlights. I bought two. One came with a problem I had to fix.The button is a rubber bubble over a mechanical momentary switch. On one of the flashlights I received it sticks if pressed too hard. This causes the flashlight to cycle between all the modes. I found that if I pull up on the rubber button it releases the inside switch and works fine. I just have to remember the button is easy to press and not mash down on it. For the price I'm willing to deal with that little issue.Second, some reviews said the USB cable doesn't fit in well. If that is a problem for you do the following:1. Slide the focus sleeve all the way out.2. Unscrew the body at the joint just forward of the button and usb port, between the button and the focus ring.3. Inside the flashlight you will see a black plastic disk (red arrow in picture) with wire coming out. Gently rotate the plastic disk to align the usb port with the opening.4. Hold the side light (blue arrow in picture) to the body.5. Replace the front of the flashlight to the body being careful to not get wires caught and to align the threads correctly. The threads are very fine so be careful not the cross thread them. It screws back together easily so if you are having to force it they are not aligned correctly.

Poor Quality Control
So I purchased 2 of these because it was a small USB rechargeable flashlight that is also capable of using regular batteries. It was bright (1000 lumens), had at least 4 or 5 modes, a side light, and a magnet. It had everyting I was looking for. The first one I had difficulty pluging the USB cable into the port. It was a tight fit, but I got it in. The second light I could not get the USB cable plugged in at all. I had to return it and exchanged it for the same item. I received that one today and the USB cable was a little tricky, but I managed to get it in. When I went to check out the functionality of the light, the on/off switch began sticking. It made it difficult to change modes and turn the light on or off. I had to return that one also. No exchange this time. I'm getting my money back. If everything would have worked properly, I would have given it 5 stars. I liked the light, but poor quality control.

Compact and easy to store in the glovebox
I ordered a half dozen of these and they all work fine. They focus and provide a pretty good light. When focused the light is square and when expanded it becomes a circle.Charges with any micro USB and stores easy enough in the provided case. The rubber cover for the USB charging port could be a little more sturdy, but for the price I'm going to order more. I don't see how that cover qualifies as waterproof but I'm not planning on taking it snorkeling. Looks to be good for in the rain and snow.No worries here.

Cheap junk
This is of course, a cheap crappy flashlight. I've been using it at work for about 2 weeks now. The magnet has fallen off. How does a magnet, of all things, fall off?? The lens just fell off as well. It's poorly made with cheap materials and not worth the money. The only reason I'm keeping it is because of how bright the side LEDs are.

Worth it really great!
I really like it especially since it’s reachable and really bright! Also you can use it as a charger comes handy when I don’t have an outlet for my phone. But the only thing I don’t like is that it’s sealed, so if I want to take it apart to fix the lens I won’t be able to so that was a bummer.. But someone answered my question on how to if it happens they said just keep pulling and pushing the light and good advice it worked!

Amazing flashlight
Bought this for work as I am constantly dealing with dark areas at my job. Case is great and velcro works better than a button style. Being able to charge other devices with this product is awesome. Well worth the money. You won’t be disappointed if you purchase this.

its ok
i would say this is not water proof with the rubber piece at the base that protects the switch and charging ports. also you must go through every setting to turn it off. i use it on a nightly basis and don't expect the switch to last based on other lights that the switch wore out. it states a 1 year warranty so hopefully if there is a problem they will replace it. it works great so far on my first use at work.
