Works well
Easy to install on an S-10 or Sonoma pickup. Remove the four bolts that mount the left side of the bed to the frame (5/8 socket wrench). Back out the four bolts on the right side, then screw them back in about six turns. This will work as a hinge to pick up the left side of the bed. As you slowly lift the bed, watch the wiring in the area of the back bumper. You may need to unplug some of the connectors. Mine came free pretty easily. Lift the bed enough to safely get into the pump area, and block up the bed. It is difficult to see in the photo, but in addition to the two by four, there is a jack stand to the left of the board. Not for the V6.

Exact fit
Took out old fuel pump because truck not starting and put in this one Chevrolet Sonoma 2.2l and it started right up great for the value as well as quality

Junk
This fuel pump was ordered for my sons 2001 Chevy S10 with the 2.2 liter. It fit great, all hookups matched and that is all the positive things I can say. After two weeks it began to short out and eventually quit. Yes its cheap and yes just like you I thought I would try it. Well after having to buy a new one from Rock Auto and calling Amazon for a refund, I can say spend a little more and only do it once. A final note: Stay away from this product.

The price!
Concerned about the longevity of the product considering the price, however it is functioning as intended.Buyer beware, when installing the pump either the bed will need to be removed or the tank will need to be dropped to replace the pump.

Fuel gauge
The unit fit right in pump works, but the gauge doesn't show right. The gauge is about quarter off, would return but not taking back out.
