Does what it's supposed to do.
I set one up at home and one at my church. The instructions are not very clear but after I figured it out it was easy to set up. Here's how to set the unit up as an extender. You will need a laptop, this unit, the network cable that came with it, and an extension cord (this makes it easy to manage because the network cable in the box is too short). Plug one end of the supplied cable in the LAN port on the unit, the other end goes to the laptop. Plug the extension cord in, connect the unit to the extension cord. Once plugged in, the unit will power up. Open a browser on the laptop and type 192.168.1.254 in the address bar and press enter. The logon page will appear, password is Admin, you can change this after logon. Go to the Wizard to setup as an extender. Disconnect the unit from the extension cord, unplug the network cable and plug the unit in a wall socket anywhere. After figuring this out the setup for the second one for the church took less than 5 minutes. If you don't have a laptop you can still use your desktop computer, just connect the unit to the desktop with the network cable and the extension cord and go to the same IP address.

Can't get it to work.
We have tried with the instructions, to get this to work but it does not. the http:// address does nothing either. If you think you can just plug it in and it will configure, you are wrong. But that is how it should work. Looks like I will have to return it. What a waste of time!

Worth the money
I purchased this for camping. The park we visit has WiFi, but the sites aren't really close enough to utilize it. After a couple of nights sitting next to the bathhouse while attempting to submit a paper for grad school, we decided a booster might be a good purchase. It makes a huge difference.

Didnt work for me is the only reason I gave it a 1 star. Return was a piece of cake.
