Broke with very light usage
I use this adapter for playing music at home on my stereo. It literally just lies flat on a table. After a few months of usage, it started crackling/stopping the music/playing distorted audio. I'm incredibly disappointed.

Insulting quality
This thing is like a chinese toy you'd buy to your pet cockroach or something. Extremely poor build quality. The connector is not even gold-plated (both lightning and 3.5mm).

I love the unit. It works great and I like all the features it has.The problems I have had are; 1 the first time I ordered this they sent me the wrong unit. 2nd the next unit I received has a cracked camera lens.I think the unit could have better installation instructions, it took some time to make sure I was hooking up all the wires correctly.

It works, good quality, Its made just perfectly for the essential phone and is not easy to pull it out like the other usb-c to 3.5 head phone jack adapter, defiantly a good buy!

Works like it should
This one is the exact that comes with the Essential PH-1. Works like it should. Will most likely do a software update after plugging in the adapter and you will be set and ready to listen to whatever is want. Works as it should. This is 100% the Essential Adapter.
