Kenton Cast Iron Toys

Research for items I bought lots of items I have never seen before

I had quite a few Kenton toys as I worked in Kenton Ohio and one of my Neighbors was I mangment and if I did him a favor , He would ask What he Owed me and I never charged him I had them til about 2 Years ago, probably 35 and all perfect , We had an Auctioneer come as we wanted to sell our Erickson Glass he came and saw My Music Box Collection and told me How much they would bring , When He showed up there were 6 Of them and My wife had parkinsons and i was upstairs when they Left every one of those Kenton Toys was Gone , Never got paid for them , Some real Crooks in this world today , I can look at Book and see what came up Missing ! but almost 2/3 of what we sent we never got Paid for ! Complained to Our State AG , I was wrong , I guess it is OK to steal in Ohio , Dewine is now running for our Gov.

Nice book. Well documented with many color photos. Interesting written History of Kenton Toys throughout with many black & white photos from the early days at the plant. Book includes a Price guide with ref page to match photo. Complete index. If you're a fan of Gene Autry this book devotes a good section to the famous Cowboy and his involvement in the making of the Gene Autry Repeating Cap Pistol...some nice photos of Gene at the plant circa:1938...Good reference book.

Just got it today. It is mainly for the toys and not the product samples made by Kenton. It does give you an idea of what toys or stove sample were released, but lacks a list of stoves. Still I have to recommend it for the toy information.

What can you say here , fine book for fine toys . Very good book and a must have .

Very good history and excellent pictures. I find it very infomative especially if you are going to collect Kenton cast iron toys.
