Bought this track for my son's bday. This track is horrible. Controllers didn't work. The bottom of the cars are so poorly made. You have to make sure the materials are set exactly correct every time. This track is not consistent and it was a real pain. To watch the car go only a few inches and then stop every single time.

Grandsons ages 4 and 6 LOVE playing with this track Their dad and uncles do as well if not more!! lol! Gotta order more to combine for more cards on a bigger track set up! Dont know how thell do it but insist its a go plan! lol!

On the plus side, this is a good slot-car racing track with loops and overpass. I love the hand generator mode in which you control car speed by the speed at which you turn the generator crank rather than pushing a trigger to use wall electricity. I think this is both a better racing game, and more satisfying. You can get the car moving faster with the hand generator than the trigger, and it's a more responsive control although it takes a little practice to get the hang of it.On the negative side, the instructions are useless. I wouldn't call assembly "easy," it's tricky to fit the parts together and they're pretty flimsy. It takes some muscle get get track in line, and when you fix one join, you'll open another. Still, it can be done in ten minutes or so by a handy adult. And the cheap, flexible track is easier to muscle into place than more expensive rigid track.One minor gripe is it would have been nice to match the controller colors to the car colors.Overall, I think this is a fun set that probably won't last long. The track is too short for competitive kids, but just right for casual play.

I got this for my eight-year-old nephew for his birthday, he never had a slot car! I had one when I was a kid, so I knew he definitely needed one. It was really quick and easy for him to put together himself right out of the box. Even though my brother helped him a little bit. And it was fun for him from that moment on. It seems like it’s really well-made, even though it’s just like any other plastic toys set on the market that we know it will only last as long as the kids play it for and take care of it. Overall it’s a great value for money, and my nephew loves it!
