Does exactly what is says... but can you trust it.
So I've given this 5 stars as, to be fair, it does exactly what is says does.It hangs on your belt, you screw a pin into your cameras tripod socket and you can then hang your camera from your belt.It works. But the product you really want is a Peak Design Capture Clip. There's a reason this is £10 and the PD is £60.It sort of comes down to how much you trust your camera to a £10 plastic clip.I bought this to get used to the idea of having my camera on my belt. I liked that. But after a month of use, I've now upgraded to the PD.The idea of the product is great, but the implementation is just a bit pants - the belt clip is very loose... and does eventually fall off. It all feels very plasticky. The pin in the bottom of your camera means it no longer fits in its case.Great idea. Poor implementation. And I never quite trusted that it wouldn't fall to pieces... however it didn't.If you're really wanting a budget solution this might be it.Or you can spend the extra and get the Peak Design.Only you can make that call.

Overall pleased, but with 1 caveat.
Clip rests comfortably on hip and holds my Lumix FZ2000 firmly. Made of hard plastic, with metal support in the area that takes the direct weight of the camera. Overall pleased with purchase with 1 caveat. When first used the clip which stops the camera slipping out of the holder sprung into place, but after a few uses no longer does. This means that I have to use the lever designed for releasing the camera to fix the camera also. Not a big problem but raises a question mark over the durability of this product.

Good quality,easy to use.
Purchased this to solve the problem of carrying two DSLRs at once. My main camera is aCanon7D which I have attached to a shoulder strap ( much more comfortable than a neck strap ). It has a battery grip and a Sigma 18-200 zoom so is quit heavy. My secondary camera is a Canon700 D which I have been carrying on a shoulder strap on my other shoulder. A bit awkward,so it was either one of these or a double harness. So, I browsed Amazon. There are lots to choose from but this one had solid five stare reviews I find it rare for ANY product to have all five stare reviews, there is always someone who has a gripe over something! So, I took the plunge. It arrived today so I put it to use immediately. It is a quality item, well made with good materials , the locking catch is very firm and strong. To be on the safe side ( belt and braces man me) I attached my camera's safety tether to a quick release clip attached to my belt. It can be uncliped in a moment but gives extra peace of mind. Not that I think it will ever be needed as this camera belt button is a very well made piece of kit. At under £10 it is well worth adding to your bag. If you are still using an old fashioned neck strap this is a good alternative to having the weight dragging on your neck. Definitely a best buy!

Worked well, but broke after just one use
I shoot gigs and bought this as a solution for carrying a second but little-used camera (fisheye lens) to a gig without having to worry about getting tangled up in shoulder straps. It's easy to use and worked well. However, after the very first gig I was getting into the car (having removed the camera of course) and it just snapped- the main body of the holder sheared away from the grips holding onto my belt. It transpires the bit connecting the main holder onto the belt grips is about 1mm wide and the whole unit is made from hard brittle plastic. I guess getting into the car put load onto the unit from a different angle. But, y'know, it should be able to cope with getting into and out of a car without breaking, it's not like I am going to fiddle about taking it off my belt at a gig...If it was made from a stronger and more flexible plastic then it would have got 5 stars across the board. As it is I spent £10 on a single use solution.I will spend more money next time, on a better made and more robust solution

Great product, but I did manage to break one of mine.
I bought two of these to help my juggle cameras at a christening. They're really comfortable and easy to use. After a while you can almost swap and change without thinking about it.It's quite a shame they don't come with an extra standoff as that would've been really useful. The only other downside is I broke one of them getting into my car, I forgot to take it off my belt, and while sitting in my car, it caught my car seat which snapped it like a twig. That's not to say it's a weak product. I had my Canon EOS 6D and 24-105mm f4 L lens attached to it while walking round a zoo all day. Together they weigh 1.4KG and not once did it ever feel like it would break. My car seat was just stronger that time. For the cost, you can't go wrong. Just think before you drive.

Really useful addition to outdoor photography gear
This is a really useful addition to gear for outdoor photography. My experience is that it's very secure. It's ideal for smaller cameras including mirrorless micro 4/3rds. The camera sits securely and comfortably on the hip, and hardly moves of flops about, as you might expect. I haven't tried it with more bulky DSLRs. If you plan to take some tripod shots you need to pack the tool to remove the stud which screws into the tripod socket. A small Allen key is supplied but actually is just used like a thin bar, so a small screwdriver or piece of thick stiff wire would do. The shots I take are mainly hand held so this is ideal for me.

fit very tightly on my belt and did not feel like it was going to come off
blown away for the price - plastic is solid, and metal ball seem snug and secure. the spring release to keep it locked in is for sure going to be the failure point and i don't expect that to take long...but as long as you are gentle with it, i'm sure it will keep going. fit very tightly on my belt and did not feel like it was going to come off. I am using this for my Mirrorless Canon M5/M6 not a DSLR...for the record not sure i would use this with my 5D Mk III and a large lens...but for a small camera or small SLR with matching lens, sure!
