Definitely passive PoE 24V DC but keep in mind that if you are connecting the other end to a non-passive (48V) PoE switch, this injection module does not block out any incoming PoE power from the switch. Learned that the hard way and sent 48V to a Ubiquiti dish as a result... Also make sure your 24V supply is not current limiting you. AC1200 needs at least 0.5A according to spec sheet. Lastly, check your Ethernet cables and verify your RJ45 terminations if you terminated them yourself. Termination mistakes are easy to make and can be difficult to find if you aren't looking for them. A mismatched pair in an RJ45 connector could potentially be shorting 24V to ground.

24v at probably 1.5 to 2 times the power rating of your device if you only connect the single device.
