The device works fine, which is the important part. It looks quite fun too, so your little one shouldn’t need too much convincing to use it. We had a fair bit of difficulty getting a reading but that was because the small person wouldn’t stop fidgeting.I don’t have massive fingers so I also managed to use it happily on myself. Probably better off buying this than the adult version unless you have fingers like Cumberland sausages. ;)

Bought this for my fiancée as part of a gift for passing her clinical exams, she does a lot of work within paediatrics with her GP role and was really excited to have a child’s pulse oximeter. She’s used the item since June 28th and as of today it no longer works, thought it was dead batteries, but on replacing them with a few different battery brands, still no luck, the item won’t switch on at all and won’t work, really disappointed, feels like £20 down the drain!

I'm medical, worked in hospitals, recently started in GP. I really don't understand what makes it 'paediatric' spo2, as you can see from photo the size is even bigger that the adult one. The only good things is that it gives a trace, so you know it is reading.Takes long time to show any values, by the time you get any numbers a child gets fed up, shakes it off and, being flimsy as it is falls and smashes. Perhaps making childrens spo2 you, the maker, should have thought about it?The inside is hard rubber, meaning it presses in the tip of finger too hard and by that reduces blood flow and as consequence gives wrong reading....I know I am spoiled by high quality medical equipment, but what is the point making things that are not very accurated from design and therefore useless?

Utterly useless and has never worked . Changed new battery’s twice and still nothing . Badly made and so wish I had not of purchased this.

I like that is specifically designed for children’s small fingers. The bright screen makes reading the results easy. It’s lightweight so I can carry it with wherever, compact so I can leave it right on my daughter’s bedside. It comes with two batteries which was great because when we got it we needed it for immediate use. The operation is easy. I just place it on her finger, and in seconds, it delivers accurate readings of blood oxygen saturation and pulse rate.
