great deal for the cost
I am not a full time machinist. The collets work great for what I need them for. The price was good and I am sure that they will last me a long time since most of their life will be spent in a drawer.

Very consistent with an average run-out of .0002" on the 8 out of 12 holders I have dial tested
Got these as a brand new set that came with my PM-45M CNC. The person I purchased the machine from also included a set of 20+ Tormach ER20 tool holders & Tormach R8 to Tormach tooling adapter(just an R8 collet). When comparing the the run-out using the Grizzly R8 collets vs the Tormach Tool holders on a .0001" gradient dial test indicator I am seeing an average of .0002" and a max of .0004" run-out at the end mills shank using the Grizzly collets. With the Tormach holders no matter what I do simply loosening them and re-tightening the holders can cause up to .0018" of run-out to occur when the previous mounting seconds before showed less than .0007".I have tried using the grizzly R8 collet with the Tormach holders, clocking the ER20 collets and even going to high end collets/end mills but always the Tormach tooling system just does not like to mount consistently in the R8 tooling. Maybe this would change with a powered drawbar vs a bolt/nut style but either way I'm surprised the Tormachs come as highly recommended as they do and the Grizzly's are considered poor quality by comparison. IMO .0002" average run-out is amazing for the price and I am now considering selling the Tormach holders or going to a BT30 spindle & powered drawbar.NOTE: The attached photo shows less than .0001" run-out at the end mill. I have zero set @ #2 for clear indication of negative and positive.
