One of the Top Dog Kibble You Can Feed Your Dog
I rescued a 7 month old Husky recently. When I took her into the Vet for a wellness check, I had asked the vet what would be the best food for her. Without hesitation the Vet said Purina Pro Plan was the best! So trusting my vet I went out and bought the food.I feed my dog the Purina Pro Plan food and she sniffed around it at first and ate it. The food gave her diarrhea. Knowing huskies have notoriously sensitive stomachs, i thought I'd try sticking to it to see if she normalized. It wasn't happening.During that time decided to educate myself on dog foods. Obviously fresh dog food is the best. I don't have time to scratch make dog food myself, and the fresh dog food in the big brand stores is either too expensive, or I cannot depend on them to keep it in stock regularly enough.I came across Orijen dog food and the first thing I noticed were the ingredients. The first ten ingredients in a dog food is pretty telling. Here's the first ten for Orijen's Original Dog Food: Chicken, turkey, salmon, whole herring, chicken liver, dehydrated chicken, dehydrated turkey, dehydrated chicken liver, dehydrated egg, and dehydrated sardine. Did you see mention of any "by-products" or "meal"? Nope, because it's not there. If you take a look at the first ten ingredients for Purina Pro Plan for puppies they are: Beef, rice, whole grain corn, poultry-byproduct meal, whole grain wheat, egg product, beef fat, pea fiber, fish meal and natural flavors.Clearly Orijen is the winner here. What they put in their dog food is so much better for our four legged friends.I switched my husky to Orijen's Original food and things have been great. She has a beautiful shiny coat. She has had no digestive issues. Her energy level has gone up and she enjoys this food!Don't ask your vet what to feed your dog. There's a reason they suggest Purina and it's not because it's the best food for them. Do your research. Purina doesn't even make the top 20 when it comes to foods that are better for your dog.Try Orijen if you're looking to feed your dog well!..

Great treats for training a raw fed diet dog
My dog is on raw diet, and he really doesn't do well on kibble. I bought this so I can still use an easy treat during training sessions without him suffering from side effects of most kibble. Even if he is fed a typical "grain-free" kibble he will start to scratch more, and get itchy. On raw, he has grown a thicker, shiner coat and hair in places he never used to have hair. Normally, I would cut small cubes of boneless meat up and use it as rewards, but sometimes it gets really tedious, even if I dehydrate the meat. That's the only downside of raw diet, if they really need to eat meat, preparing parts of his meal for training takes longer even for just a 15 min session but I try my best for him because he deserves it.So far, my garbage hound (aka he has a strong food drive) dog seems as crazy for this kibble as he does with his meat. The other kibble we used, he'd still eat it, but he wasn't as enthusiastic about it. It is pricey if you plan to feed a dog wit this constantly, but it's great to use as just rewards in training. I plan to see how long a 4.5lb bag of orijen lasts if I give my dog a training session each day. I'm thinking almost a month, which is a good price for training treats, other treats on the market they price like $10 for a small bag or so which is ridiculous when you can either use their kibble meal and work them for their daily food.

My dog Loves these
My dog had all but stopped eating the other two brands I was trying to give him. Not cheap brands either but I guess one was just meh and the other too hard to chew. This one though, omg when I mixed it with the potty harder brand he'd try to chew around that kibble to pick out this. And he tries to stuff his head in the food bin to get more whenever I fill his bowl. Now we're just feeding him this (Very expensive) food and trying to figure out if we're starving him, since he went from not eating to always seeming to beg for more food. So wish it was more affordable *sigh*

Grain fee but she loves it, and is healthy
First let me say that I have been feeding my dog Orijen original for the past seven months ....she’s 22lbs and a Chi/Pin Mix......(yes a little chubs).... I just found out from the company that this dog food is grain free .... and just recently after having to take my dog to the vet for an ear infection we discussed dog foods and she recommended not feeding a grain free diet.... whenever I would order a bag of this food and it didn’t say grain free, I assumed that it did have grains.....not so.....some headlines say grain free and some don’t ..... well she has been eating grain free for the past seven months, but guess what, she loves it.....she’s healthy I haven’t been able to afford the cost of bloodwork just to make sure that everything is in order, I will pretty soon maybe so I don’t know what to do ..... I bought ahead because it takes so long to get the bags from the third-party sellers.... I have two full unopened bags ready and because the expiration date is OK I didn’t want to run out of food ..... I don’t know what to do ..... I really hate to switch again because I finally found a product that she likes and I have tried numerous dog foods and she didn’t like them after about a month ...... i’ll probably keep her on this..... that’s my story .....OH! and when my daughters dogs come down and there’s some food left in her bowl you should see how they mop it up, they love it !!!!!
