Mint Flavored Professional Strength Tooth Polish - Medium, Coarse, or X-Coarse (X-Coarse Grit)

I love the way my teeth feel when I leave the dentist office, and I've been trying to up my dental hygiene game (having your first-ever cavity at age 42 will do that to you!). I've been experimenting with a variety of toothpastes, flosses and the WaterPik, and then I stumbled across these while browsing through dental hygiene things. It looked just like the little cups my hygienist used, so I figured if I did this once a month or so, that would be a great way to keep things ultra-clean.The little cups arrived in pristine condition, packed in a tiny bag. I ordered the mint-flavored X-Coarse grit. Heeding some of the earlier reviews, I used a toothpick and a bit of water to mix up what was in the cup, creating more of a gel-like consistency that could be easily scooped onto my brush. Though I do have an electric toothbrush (and will use that next time!) this time I just wanted to use the manual brush to get a better feel for how it works, how it feels on my teeth, and places that might need a bit more attention.It went on the brush just fine. I was very pleasantly surprised by the grit - not too much, not too little, but just like what my hygienist uses. I used the brush in circular motions all over my teeth, paying close attention to the areas between the teeth. The taste was very nice. I used half the cup, then rinsed out my mouth, then went over it again with the other half of the cup. I finished up with a swirl of mouthwash to help ensure all the grit was gone.I LOVE the way my teeth feel after using this. They are slick and clean, fresh-feeling, just like they should be. I noticed that it whitened my teeth just a little bit almost immediately, which is a nice bonus, so I can imagine it would work well on stains. I found that I had to be a little careful around the gumline at the front, as it was really sensitive to the grit, but by taking care and going slowly with the toothbrush, that shouldn't be a problem in the future. However, if you do have really sensitive gums or teeth, perhaps a lighter grit would be a better choice.Needless to say, I'm pleased. I'm thinking about using this once a month, so that's a little over a year of treatments for less than ten bucks - not bad! I will definitely order more when I run out.

This stuff removes coffee stains. I used this with my oral B electric brush and slowly moved the tooth brush across the teeth.I should have been using this years ago.I use it 2 times a month and it has replaced my baking soda/peroxide routine.

I bought a cheap oral B electric brush to use with this product. The circular head fits exactly into the pod. Perfect. Surprised at the good results!

Had some coffee stains that went away the first time I used it. I purchased the extra coarse & I love it.

I have badly stained lower teeth, have used three of the 14 cups included, not really seeing much of a difference, but lets give it a chance, also stuff is harder to get out of the cups than I figured have to use a knife to scoop out and apply to brush, then have a hard time keeping it on the brush. Will update on product efficacy when I've finished the pack.

It's less than expected. It doesn't really stick in the polisher. You gotta pack it on the head and sort of slather it on your teeth. The flavor is mild and the polish is also mild. I want something that will really shine your teeth. This was just meh.

Use this on an electric toothbrush. I can get at least 3 full cleanings out of ONE cup! Nice taste. Not gritty after rinsing. Definitely cleans well...

This stuff seems to work, that is, it does polish and leave teeth feeling cleaner and smoother. It's a little hard to get out of the little container then often falls off the brush into the sink. Maybe I just need to improve my technique.

This product does remove surface stains but not on deep old ones. Rated it 3 stars for easy to use because it's kinda hard and not easily removed from the cup. Great tasting. A little pricey though. Overall works good.

Seems to work and good price

First, there was no way to select the grit I wanted - the posting looks like you should be able to select it but there are no options for that. I sent an inquiry to the company and the response implied I should have been able to tell from the ad, but it says "Medium, Coarse, or X-Coarse (X-Coarse Grit)" so... which is it, please?I also got a special toothbrush with that rubber middle, like the ones they use at the dentist's office. I've used at least 10 of the little pots with a variety of brushes (manual as well as electric) and I still haven't managed to get that nice smooth, polished feeling you're supposed to get. It might remove stains, I'm not sure - didn't have any to test it on. Might work for some people but I won't be buying these again.
