Protection yes, looks no.
This case would definitely protect your phone but you also want the phone to look good.The glossy back of the phone sticks to the case and creates a bubble like patch at the back.Cleaning the case actually wears it out and the case itself gets scratches which just looks awful.The camera bump is exposed with the case on, but Apple has pretty solid scratch-proof stuff for the camera lens.
