Great toy!
We have a 50lb Shar-Pei mix and a 65lb Catahoula mix, both are in love with this ball! I got the 8" and was bigger than I thought it would be, which is perfectly fine (it's about the size of a soccer ball) and because of the size I know the ball will last for a very long time, as they won't be able to fit it in their mouths to chew it up.The only problem I have is the rope. They were given the ball yesterday right after it was delivered and after an hour or so of play our Shar-Pei (who is a master chewer) was starting to cut through the rope. Because of his chewing, most toys (including this one) are outside only (he not only chews up the toys, but will also eat them if given the chance) I thought the rope would hold up longer being that it is limited play outside, but alas, the rope will be sawed through by the end of the week I'm sure. I knotted the rope against the ball to try and make it last a bit longer, (they won't want anything to do with it if they can't pick it up) As the toy isn't cheep, and they love it so much, I'm hoping I can find the rope they use for dog toys so I can just replace it.Over all it's a big hit! However because of the rope issue we are going to get the jolly ball with the handle next time and see how they like that one..............................................................................................................................UPDATE - 2 Months After Purchase:OK so we have had the Jolly for about 2 months now and I thought I'd do an update. The rope has actually held up FAR better than I had expected it to. I have not had to replace the rope, and it is still mostly intact. Two months of tug has it very beat up tho. The ball itself still looks almost new. We were so extremely pleased with this toy we just got a second one. I knotted the rope one the new one like it did with the first, so that there is a knot tight against each side of the ball) as I think that really is helping to extend the life of the rope some. One word of advise tho (we learned the hard way) if you live down south like we do, and have fire ants...DO NOT leave this toy in the yard over night!!! Luckily, I had spotted it before the dogs went to play that morning, in one night a bunch of fire ants had nested inside the ball. It took about 3 days of submerging the ball in water to flush them all out (I think they were gone after 2 days but I wanted to be positive every last one was out before they played with it again).

Great Toy
My large German Shepard loves it and it is not immediately destructible like so many of his toys.I have two and kick one, he chases it and while he’s doing that I kick the other one. It has lasted many months and is usable even with the eventual holes! It’s great and worth the money.

8" Large, Orange
These have been a staple toy for many years (as a big dog owner). They last and dogs love them.Over the last few years, the ball has began to differ in quality.Recently, I grabbed one from a local Tractor Supply that was demolished within a week. The rubber isn't necessarily thinner, but it's more pliable - making it easier to bend and flex. Which renders it a bit defenseless to a 80lb boxer/heeler mouth.I bought the orange, 8" ball with rope, from this seller on a whim. I'm happy to report it has the "vintage durability" of a typical Jolly-Ball. Bought a second one as a spare.Classic toy.

Ball is great. Rope destroyed in a few days
This is a split review as the ball is very durable but the rope not so much. Ok so our 5 month old dumped dog, Conan the Destroyer, is a really aggressive chewer so I didn't expect it to last too long. The rope was detached from the ball in just a few days but the ball is still in great shape. Would have given it 3.5 stars if I could have. To be fair, the ropes on his other toys didn't survive either although they did last a few days longer.

The search is over! MONTH UPDATE!
I bought this for my 1+ year old 40lb blue heeler/Australian cattle dog that has an infinite amount of energy. But after going through two Wiggle Wag Wobble balls I figured I should change it up. Typically I have to roll/toss the ball for her to chase it then I have to do it again. But since this is larger and also has her other favorite toy, a rope, she pushes and tosses and scoots this all around on her own which is great for giving my old back a break and keeping her entertained and active. The big(ish) con that I've seen other speak of is the rope coming undone rather quickly. I preemptively fixed that by squirting just enough gel super glue into the knots to keep them tied. This is now officially her toy of choice next to her Kong flyer and we couldn't be happier!ONE MONTH UPDATE:Second picture is after a little over a month of daily play with my 1+ year old Blue Heeler. She absolutely loves this toy and it's stood up to her power chewing ways. The rope though, will be needing replaced. Not a big deal, but compared to her stand-alone rope she plays with just as much, this rope is very poor quality. Still a worthwhile purchase though!

Durable!
I'm so impressed with this dog toy! I have a pittie and he destroys all his toys in a matter of minutes. This toy has lasted longer than any of the others. He carries it around in his mouth - by that I mean he puts the ball in his mouth and walks around with it. The ball is soft enough to chew and strong enough to withstand a pit bull's jaw. The rope has also stood up to his chewing. I'm going to buy another one soon, but not because he destroyed the first one; just because it's such a good toy.

Happy chocolate lab
Solid material, my 5 month old puppy is obsessed with it! Finally something that can stand up to his chewing.

Fun but…
My labrador loved the ball my only issue is the quality of the rope she had this torn apart in 20 minutes. I’ll need to replace it with a better quality rope.

Loves it
She loves it!Pup is 6y, 65 lbs. she carries it by the rope or by the ball. Love toss and fetch, whips it around like she’s killing it. Has loads of fun. I know she’s punctured the ball, but it’s holding a round shape when she not biting it.Will probably get another for the cabin/summer.

Great toy!
This toy is quite versatile. You can play fetch or tug-of-war or your dog can just use it as a chew toy.

Outside toy
My boy LOVES this toy! Got it for him as a Christmas gift and it has held up so far. He swings it, rolls it and plays fetch and tug with it. Great for him to play alone or with us. He’s a tough chewer so we bring him in when he starts chewing the rope but the ball has held up surprisingly well as he can actually fit it in his jaws. It’s been almost a month and he still plays with it daily:) Definitely not for inside-he’d break everything throwing it around lol.

Great for power chewers
My German Shepherd loves this toy! She can grab it by the rope or the ball, and shake it around, chew on it, and play tug of war with her Standard Poodle brother.

Great toy!
My dog absolutely adores this toy! It is one of his favourite toys to play with! It is very durable and he has been playing with it very rough and still no pieces have ever come out! I would totally recommend this toy for any dog!
