Cordoba 20TM Mahogany Tenor Ukulele

The tenor is the right size for my style, the price is on target, and the sound is right. You can spend less and get a toy, or spend a whole lot more and get a great ukulele that might be wasted on all but the best players. This is the sweet spot of a beautifully made, good sounding, good looking ukulele for those who actually want to play the instrument and enjoying doing so.

A few months ago my wife was buying new strings for her guitar at a local music shop when she decided to buy me a $30 soprano ukulele. As a graduate student who faces constant deadlines with grading and papers, I desperately needed some form of stress relief and the ukulele was the perfect gift. For Christmas I treated myself to an upgrade and chose the Cordoba 20TM tenor ukulele. The larger body and longer fretboard of the tenor ukulele is a good fit for my long fingers.The Cordoba 20TM has a nice mellow sound due to its Aquila nylgut strings which have a crisp sound right out of the box. The ukulele's mahogany body and rosewood fretboard make it a beautiful instrument. As someone who grew up playing the guitar, I found the transition to ukulele an easy one. The Cordoba 20TM is well worth the price.The only reason I did not give this instrument 5 stars is that the tuner on the E string is a little loose.

Excellent craftsmanship, quality, and price. I had a soprano version and when the time came to step up to a Tenor, I purchased this same make and model. Cordoba makes classical guitars so I should not be surprised this is the real deal compared to other 'eye candy' models with some theme.

Bought for my son’s 30th birthday and he loves it! He played guitar in grade school and all those lessons paid off. Plays all the time with fun apps for learning songs and joined a weekly group. Make sure you buy the digital tuner, a strap and case. Case was featured in pictures but was not included. Sound is excellent, mahogany is beautiful. He has also bought a music stand.

Missing case. Neither Cordoba nor Amazon wanted to help. Amazon finally game me a 15% discount, which did not cover the cost of me buying the bag. It was $35.00 and the discount totaled $26.70. It is a nice instrument, but the not providing the items in the description is fraudulent.

Product arrived with a deep gouge on the face of the uke. Other than that it is a nice instrument

Excellent craftsmanship. Super cheap tuning heads. The tuning gears actually wiggled if you shook the instrument. Sorry but I sent is back.
