These beads were exactly what I wanted. The style is simple and pleasing and the cord they are on Is a bit stretchy so you can get them to stay nicely on your wrist looped around a few times - the color is nice. They don’t hAve any weird smell (sometimes with “wood” items I notice these things) — I was pleasantly surprised - definitely giftable and a great price.

I got the one labeled rosewood, and I love the smell. It is also very stretchy and durable.

I enjoy the product a lot. I use it occasionally for meditation and as a necklace. It is quality made and my Rose Wood does not have any chemicals on it as some other versions or users claim.

Bought 3 sets in different woods. Perfect. The bead size is great and easy to manipulate. I keep them in the pocket of my scrub top and chant to myself with them during stressful times. I put a drop of superglue on each of the knots just to be on the safe side. The elastic the beads are strung on is a little flimsy so I will likely restring them onto a sturdier cord. Overall very happy with the purchase. Correct number of beads. No weird smell (other reviews had mentioned that).

Good color. Beads seem small than what I had years ago. But I lost touch with Buddhism for far too long so thats on me. I really wanted one made from genuine Bodhi seeds but just couldn't afford it right now so this a good affordable one for me to get restarted in in the practice with everything seemingly falling apart in the world right now.

Update. Just read the most interesting thing in a book that says the hormone androsterone smells like nothing to 1/3 people, urine to 1/3 people and like sandalwood to 1/3 people. Guess that was me. Perhaps my review was unfair based on this fact and the rosewood Beads must’ve been the darker ones and the sandalwood beads were probably authentic? Changing my review from 1 to 5 as they were pretty and I had zero issues returning.Original review: Bought rosewood and sandalwood. One is slightly darker and smells WAY better. I ordered 3 bead items for yoga and meditation. I would say this would be the one i felt was worth the price. Someone said the beads are small, yes, but good luck finding giant wood beads for $8 because you won't. And as a guy, I prefer them to be more subtle, and not as flashy. You could also wear them on the wrist really easily, they look good as a wrist bracelet.

Super cute! For my wrist you have to wrap it five times around and the fifth time is a tad bit snug but it looks very cool and I always get compliments on this bracelet.

It is as you see it in the picture. I am happy to have the mala.

While a couple of the beads may be shaped slightly differently and the string used in the assembly is fragile the product is as described. When used correctly they can greatly benefit the soul. Beware of delivery time.
